Grooming tables for large dogs
Deck length, entry height and realistic handling needs.
Fit the dog’s body, not the label
Measure the natural standing length and widest stance, then add working margin. Weight capacity cannot compensate for a deck that leaves a long dog crowded at the edges.
Reduce the access challenge
Large dogs may need a low electric position, a properly designed ramp or another supervised plan. Consider age, mobility, confidence and the handler’s ability rather than assuming the dog can jump.
Allow room for safe movement
A large dog grooming table needs more clearance around its base and arm. Check floor strength, doorway access, table delivery weight and the groomer’s escape path before installation.
