Practical guide · super low dog grooming table
Super-low dog grooming tables
When a lower entry height can reduce lifting and when a ramp still makes sense.
Compare the true minimum height
A super-low dog grooming table can bring the deck close enough for many dogs to step on, but published minimums vary by several inches. Measure the step against the dogs you actually handle.
Low entry does not remove supervision
Some dogs still need a short ramp, nonslip step or patient introduction. Keep the table fully lowered and stable while loading, then follow the manufacturer’s lift procedure.
Check the moving footprint
X-lift and scissor bases change shape as they rise. Mark the full floor envelope, protect cords and keep paws and human feet away from pinch areas.
